Table Rock

A few weeks ago Kattie and I climbed Table Rock. It is a popular hike near the Grand Teton in Eastern Idaho. We went with two of our best friends from the singles branch, Dave and Kendra. We drove up Friday night after work and camped over night. Dave made some awesome dutch oven dinner. We got up early and started hiking. The weather was nice, and it was a good time. I miss having a physically demanding job, and it wasn't long into our hike that I began to feel the effects of my 2 years behind a desk. I did end up making it to the top!

This is the Grand Teton. It is over 13,000 feet. My brother and I were going to climb it in August, but he had to go and break his leg in four places playing kickball of all things. Well, maybe another year. I did get really close to it though, and it is absolutely amazing. I am glad that I got to enjoy a day outdoors with Kattie. It was a lot of fun.
