For my birthday I decided that I wanted a spring piston pellet gun. They are high powered pellet guns. I thought I needed some bad medicine for the dogs that get our chickens. But, I really wanted something that could kill the pesky magpies that plague our catfood and chicken scraps. I have been using the shotgun, which works quite effectively. However, the magpies seem to always fly away in front of the church or the neighbor's house, preventing a safe shot. So, with the screen now out of the kitchen window..... magpies consider yourselves warned. I still have some fine tuning to do with the sights, but I think I can get the job done now.
